Paint your very own angel and add a verse for inspiration
NEW workshop for fall 2020
A workshop with wide appeal !
Each participant will be given a prepped 11"x 28" pine board with the angel outline pre-drawn on for convenience and time. You then choose whatever colour you wish to paint the angel body and background as well as choose a verse/scripture to stencil on your piece.
Our Creative Coach, BerylAnne will demo a really simple and impressive blending technique to give our piece an ethereal "feel". We will be using metallic foils for the halo and texture paste on the wings for a touch of realism. Glitter and iridescent medium is also used for that additional impact. Decor wax paste is also an amazing accent on our finished board to add a bit more dimension and depth to the painted areas.
There are 6 different phrases to choose from for the wording on your sign which will be precut in vinyl stencil material and available for you to use so you don't need to hand-letter the wording.
All of the choices you have while creating your Angel Sign will result in a beautiful finished piece that you will be taking home with you at the end of the workshop. No previous experience or crafting ability is necessary....just come with the idea of having a bit of fun, learning a few new tips and techniques and meeting some great new friends!
All supplies are included in the price. Refreshments are provided (coffee, tea, pop and water); aprons and gloves are provided but masks are your responsibility if you decide to wear one. Class size is limited to 6 due to physical distancing requirements.
