A pilot, online group grief counselling group will be offered for those struggling with grief to gather data on the effects that a pet can have on the healthy grieving process when paired with online counselling.
Criteria for Participants
- 18 years of age or older
- Struggling with grief due to the loss of a loved one (exempting the loss of a pet)
- Own a pet that you feel attached to
Group Format
- 8 sessions total
- Beginning April 17th until June 5th
- 2-hour sessions, once a week
- Held on Saturday mornings
- Sessions offered via Zoom
- All sessions are offered free of charge to participants
