This session invites leaders, advocates, and community members into a thoughtful conversation about the evolving language of equity and inclusion — and the enduring values that guide this work. As terms like DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) are increasingly reframed as ACB (Acceptance, Community, and Belonging), we will explore what these shifts mean and how organizations can remain grounded in their core commitments while adapting to change.
Together, we will reflect on the language that best reflects our current aspirations, consider new ways of fostering belonging, and discuss how inclusive principles continue to strengthen organizations and communities. This is an opportunity to look beyond terminology and focus on the shared values that support connection, understanding, and a more just society.
