The true story of a brilliant astronomer ahead of her time
In a time when a woman’s place was in the home, one woman dreamt of the stars. When Henrietta Leavitt gets the chance to work for an astronomer at Harvard University she has high hopes. But in the 1900’s world of immense scientific discovery, women’s ideas are dismissed, unless men claim credit for them. But Henrietta and her female peers are undaunted, and their dedication to studying the mysteries of the stars changed the way we understand the cosmos, and the human connection that makes life under the vast sky beautiful and timeless.
