Create a home, create a lifestyle and create memories. Join us on Tuesday, December 10th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm for a festive evening of wreath-making with Becky Feasby of prairie girl flowers. Becky will walk you through the steps to create a beautiful winter wreath using B.C. and Alberta grown greens and assorted dried materials.
Becky is a passionate gardener-florist who creates natural arrangements centred on the vibrant colours and textures that make up life here on the Prairies. She uses great care in selecting materials and uses as many locally sourced products as possible, in an effort to reduce waste and cut back on the use of plants and flowers that need to travel long distances to reach us in Calgary. She is dedicated to the seasonal flower movement and loves collaborating with farmers, growers, and creatives in our community. Becky completed her gardening and landscape design training in New York, Calgary and Chicago and completed the Floral Design program at Mount Royal University. She has also completed workshop training with many incredible, innovative florists and growers who support the foam free and Slow Flowers movements.
This workshop will take place at the McKee showhome at 604 Reynold’s Crescent, Airdrie. Cost is $75.00 per participant and must be paid in advance. All materials, lessons and refreshments are included. Register today!
