Katie, from Elm & Ohm practical well-being, will lead the class through guided breathing exercises and mindfulness activities. By directing your self care practice in a way that works with the human brain, Katie can show you how to "tap in" to a calmer and less anxiety ridden self.
People know to breath when they are stressed, or do mindfulness activities (that lovely buzz word)...But people don't know HOW to do these things and this is where many get stuck. Believe it or not there is a way to help yourself decrease anxiety, build a positive attitude and take control over our emotions and behavior...It's about timing and learning what works for you...and the key ingredient is to understand a little about how the brain works to bring this altogether.
